The short version. This policy covers PickBits Studio games and apps. We do not sell user data. Details vary by product, so check its product-specific policy for any local storage, optional account features, and diagnostics.

This policy covers both the games and the apps PickBits Studio publishes. When a product ships to an app store, it also has its own product-specific privacy policy, which takes precedence for that product. You can find those policies in our legal directory.

How our games handle data

There are two kinds of PickBits Studio games:

Most builds in both groups also load third-party crash reporting (Sentry) and usage analytics (Google Analytics or PostHog) so we can find bugs and see which features get played. Those are marked diagnostics below, and each game's policy names exactly which services it loads and what they receive. None of them are advertising trackers, and none receive your save data. PostHog does create a pseudonymous per-visitor profile, so we describe it as pseudonymous rather than anonymous.

Account-level data (registration, billing, site analytics on pickbits.ai) is covered by the main PickBits privacy policy.

There is no advertising on pickbits.studio, and no advertising cookie is set by us or by anyone else.

Your choices about tracking

We do not show a cookie banner, because we apply the stricter setting to the EEA, UK and Switzerland by default rather than asking:

Everywhere else, analytics run by default. You can opt out with your browser's tracking-protection settings, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by emailing owner@pickbits.ai.

If you are in the UK or EEA: we process account data to perform our contract with you, run security and diagnostics on the basis of our legitimate interest in a working service, and rely on consent for analytics cookies — which is why they are off by default in those regions. You have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, objection and complaint to your national data-protection authority; email us to exercise any of them.
