The short version. Steel Front TD runs entirely in your browser and does not require an account. Your game progress is saved locally on your device and stays there. The game does load third-party crash-reporting and analytics services — detailed below — but it collects no personal data and nothing is sold or shared.

Scope

This policy covers the Steel Front TD game published by PickBits Studio and playable at steelfront.pickbits.ai. It does not cover the pickbits.ai website or other PickBits services — those are covered by the main PickBits privacy policy.

What the game stores locally

Progress, unlocks, scores, and settings are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Diagnostics & analytics

Steel Front TD loads the following third-party services in your browser while you play:

Sentry — crash and error reports. If the game throws an error, a report containing the error message, a stack trace, the page URL, and your browser and operating system version is sent so we can fix it.
Google Analytics and PostHog — anonymous usage analytics. Records which screens and features are used, plus coarse technical details (browser, device type, approximate region derived from IP). Not used to build an advertising profile.

These services see your IP address as part of any ordinary web request. We do not send them your name, email, or game save data, and we do not sell or share what they collect. Blocking them with a browser content blocker or “do not track” extension does not affect gameplay.

Hosting

The game is served from PickBits infrastructure. Standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, request time) may be generated by the hosting provider for security and operations; they are not used to profile players.

Children

Our games are general-audience and not directed at children under 13. The game asks for no information from anyone, including children; the diagnostic services above are not used to identify or profile individual players.

Changes

If this game's data-handling behavior changes, we will update this policy and the effective date above.
