A staffed spire beneath the surface. In-game capture.

Dig, build, and staff your way through the earth. Rooms reward different follower strengths, while faith, blood, and dark energy keep the whole operation running. Merge neighboring bays, survive incidents, send expeditions, and unlock edicts that automate the work you have learned to do by hand.

On your first run

Match a follower’s strongest attribute to the room’s preferred stat. Keep your basic resources stable before opening another floor. Learn a job manually before handing it over to an edict.

Controls

Tool palette: Choose a building tool, then select a bay in the spire.
Camera buttons: Zoom, reset the view, or jump to the digging frontier.
? button: Open the rules and glossary.
